FAQ

Clear Smile Aligners

How long does the treatment take?

On average, most of our aligner cases complete their treatment between 4 to 6 months.

More Complex cases can take up to 9months.

How do I clean the aligners?

Rinse your aligners under running water after each meal. You can use a soft bristle brush to clean if necessary.

Does it hurt?

When placing a new retainer in, you will feel slight pressure for the first week days as your teeth move into a new position. However, there should not be any high intense pain with your aligner treatment

What happens after my treatment?

Once your treatment is completed, we will make you a final retainer to wear a night to maintain the new position of your newly straight smile.

Does it change the way I speak?

You may experience a slight lisp for a few days as it is a new foreign object in your mouth. However, this will go away as you become familiar with your aligners

Can you eat with Aligners?

You can eat with your Aligners, however, it is strongly recommended that you remove them while eating to avoid damaging them

How often do I change my aligners?

We recommend our patients to change their aligners every 1 to 2 weeks depending on how well their teeth are moving into their new position.

Do you have a payment plan?

Yes we do offer payment plans. You can pay as you collect your alignments every week, fortnightly or monthly.
